How to Invent 2018 on Capitol Hill
The Inventor’s Project hosted our annual How to Invent Series on Capitol Hill in August for Congressional staff and inventors in the Washington DC area. We welcomed Edison Nation’s Louis Foreman for the first two days of the class. He took attendees through the invention process from having an idea to commercialization. Intellectual Property expert Jon Parthum from Cahn & Samuels law firm wrapped up the week by discussing the importance of patenting your idea and what that entails.
Los Angeles June 2018
The Inventor’s Project hosted Inventing 101 on June 29th at Los Angeles Trade – Technical College in Los Angeles, California. Inventors and IP Experts like Adrian Pelkus and Eric Huber took attendees through the process of going from idea to product to business. Congresswoman Karen Bass also spoke on the importance of innovation.
Inventor Fly-In Capitol Hill April 2018
The Inventors Groups of America along with the Inventor’s Project hosted A Day on Capitol Hill for 40 Inventors and Innovators from around the country. They spent the day meeting with their Members and Senators of Congress talking about innovation. In the afternoon Congressman Thomas Massie kicked off a briefing about three pro-inventor bills.
Capitol Hill March 2018
The Inventor’s Project co hosted How to Evaluate Disruptive Inventions on Capitol Hill. The event featured an Expo with inventors from around the country and intellectual property experts highlighted the importance of IP on a panel. Congressman Paul Gosar, Co-Chair of the Congressional Inventions Caucus addressed attendees on the importance of the American innovation machine followed by Senators Steve Daines and Mazie Hirono discussing the Inventions Caucus and intellectual property.
ASU Polytechnic July 2017
The Inventor’s Project hosted The Power of Inventing at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus in Mesa, Arizona. The day featured a slew of inventors and intellectual property experts highlighted by a keynote address from inventRight’s Stephen Key. Congressman Paul Gosar, Co-Chair of the Congressional Inventions Caucus also addressed attendees on the importance of the American innovation machine.
Kansas City October 2017
The Inventor’s Project hosted The Power of Inventing 2.0 at The Kauffman Foundation Conference Center in Kansas City, MO. Co-hosted by The Ennovation Center and Inventors Center of Kansas City. we were honored to have Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver speak as well as addresses from the USPTO and local business leaders and entrepreneurs.
